Pacowhy

Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1982, he is currently active in Seoul and Shanghai. Relying on his infinite worship and love for the American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, he created and developed his own road of graffiti painting. Pacowhy's creative inspiration comes from his life and work, what he sees, hears, and dreams. The uniqueness of his work may lie in rich colors and pictures.

He hopes everyone will feel better after seeing the rainbow in his painting. The techniques and logical structure of traditional painting naturally exist in Pacowhy’s works, but from the initial stage of painting learning to the current artistic creation, he pays more attention to the messages that the works can convey, and the dialogue and inspiration, which may arise after viewers appreciating his works. His work is a record of his personal emotions, and also a track record of the era he is currently experiencing. In Pacowhy's works, the viewer may resonate with synesthesia or maybe inspired, opening the window of his own imagination and regaining new insights.
