Qin Feng, 1961 born in Xinjiang, China, graduated from Shangdong Art Institute in 1985. After graduation, he worked in research and publication industry. He moved to Germany in 1996 under the invitation by the city of Berlin to serve as the curator for the SinoJGerman Cultural Exchange Programme and to teach at Berlin University of Art, HDK. He found the Museum of Contemporary Art in Beijing and began teaching and serving as a graduate advisor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
