Julieta XLF

Julieta XLF is a Street artist specialized in illustration from Valencia, Spain.

Julieta's work since 2004 focuses basically on mural interventions in the public space both nationally and internationally. While she was studying fine arts, she felt specially attracted by installation, sculpture, and performance. When she started painting on the streets on 2004, she found that 3rd dimension that was missing for her on the act of painting using street art as a laboratory and a space for reflection on the city, as a tool of approaching the world and touch others’ lives.

On her Works she talks to the others through the use of color and the rhythm of forms. She imagines and creates from the forms that Nature shows to her, the inspiration she finds meeting people and different cultures, on the small things of live and on her Mediterranean roots, focusing the attention on the natural diversity of the environment and the need to preserve it.

Working from the integration, from the idea of beauty, with the figure of a woman as a starting point protagonist of her own adventures and reflections. A call of attention that invites us to reconnect with the creative energy of everything that exists, to respect the environment in which we live and the planet that gives us the air we breathe.” I believe that color can change our lives and Street Art is my tool for a change.”

Her Work

All colors are in her palette. A festival of magic and mystery takes small figures that envelop the great image of a woman. Julieta’s woman is full of light embracing her shadows. Birds arise spontaneously from their hair because they dream about their transformation, renewal and evolution that the world around them needs.
